Sting表示“刺痛，扎心”。表示“使痛心”、“使受傷”，形容被別人深深傷害到，還可用hurt。表示“觸及要害”、“刺到痛處”，可用cut sb to the quick來表達(dá)，如：Your heartless comments cut me to the quick. （你無情的評論刺痛了我。）
此外，prick也指“刺痛”。“扎心了，老鐵”英文就可以說：My heart was pricked, Laotie.
Tear sb's heart out這個短語表示把心撕碎，扎心程度不亞于撕心裂肺。例：Can't you see you're tearing Jane's heart out? Why do you have to treat her that way? （你難道看不出自己在傷害簡嗎？為什么要這樣對待她？）
